Governor Laura Kelly is refusing to protect rural Kansas hospitals from Joe Biden's vaccine mandate.

Republican governors in West Virginia, Virginia, and Montana have already asked the Biden administration for an exemption from the vaccine mandate for doctors and nurses in rural hospitals that are already short-staffed.
If our Kansas rural hospitals are forced to comply with the Biden mandate, they might have to close their doors and deny care to some of our most vulnerable.
Laura Kelly is the only one who can apply for this waiver. The request must come from the governor's office.
Attorney General Derek Schmidt has called on the governor to apply for the waiver ([link removed]) and protect our Kansas hospitals. Unfortunately, Laura Kelly won't do it. In fact, she issued a directive this week saying Kansas hospitals "must comply with the federal vaccine requirement."
Attorney General Schmidt is doing everything he can to fight Joe Biden, but he needs YOUR help!
CALL TO ACTION:
Call the governor's office at 785-368-8500 and demand that Governor Kelly listen to Attorney General Schmidt and apply for the CMS waiver to protect rural hospitals.
