We need maps that represent Pennsylvania's electorate. Do you support independent, non-partisan redistricting?

❌ NO, I SUPPORT POWER-HUNGRY LEGISLATORS: [link removed]

John, we’ll make this super quick – we just want to know where you stand on fair maps.

Pennsylvania is currently going through the redistricting process where our state legislative maps, as well as our congressional maps, are being redrawn based off of the 2020 census data. The proposed state legislative maps are fairer and more representative of the people of Pennsylvania than our previous maps. However, the proposed congressional maps are not.

In a blatant power grab, Pennsylvania extremist Republicans are trying to create districts that serve them instead of you. These maps do nothing but ignore Pennsylvania’s expanding electorate – an expansion that is primarily driven by young voters and voters of color, and ensure they remain in power for another decade. These power-hungry legislators have no business drawing maps in the first place.

Do you think our maps should reflect the will of Pennsylvania’s expanding electorate?

YES: [link removed]
NO: [link removed]

In solidarity with voters everywhere,

Team NPP

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in under-represented communities of color and immigrant communities. We will register them to vote, provide education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize people to vote in every election.
