Earlier this month, Mark learned he had received a 100% rating from the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights.

It was a tremendous honor; but he isn’t resting on his rating. He is working hard to build support for bills that are fundamental to protecting voting rights and advancing civil and human rights for all.

But we need to be honest — if Republicans take back control of the Senate, work on these issues will grind to a halt. Chip in $5 to protect the Senate majority in 2022. [link removed]

Mark has not given up on passing much needed voting rights reforms that will protect the integrity of our elections and make it easier for people to vote.

He’s working hard to make sure there is equitable distribution of resources available through the American Rescue Plan and the bipartisan infrastructure bill both here in Virginia and beyond.

He’s doing this because he knows this is our best chance in a long time to make progress on a number of crucial civil and human rights issues. But he also knows time is ticking. If Mitch McConnell becomes the Senate Majority Leader, all of this progress will stop.
