Dear Free Software
Supporter,

The [LibrePlanet 2020][1] conference [call for sessions][2] deadline
is almost here, and we would love to have you bring us your
perspective. Help us "Free the Future" by submitting your session
proposal by Wednesday, November 20th, 2019, 12:00 EST (17:00
UTC). Next week, we will close the call for proposals and begin the
difficult process of deciding which talks to accept into this year's
program.

You don't have to be a coder to speak at the annual conference --
LibrePlanet is defined by its combination of technical talks with
non-technical sessions on free software activism, culture, and current
events. We're just as interested to hear from new speakers and
newcomers to free software as we are to hear from those who have been
around for years.

** [Submit your session proposal here!][2]**

LibrePlanet is an annual conference hosted by the [Free Software
Foundation][3] (FSF), for free software enthusiasts and anyone who
cares about the intersection of technology and social
justice. LibrePlanet brings together software developers, law and
policy experts, activists, students, and computer users to learn
skills, celebrate free software accomplishments, and face challenges
to software freedom.

Have a look at our last [call for sessions blog post][4] to learn more
about the theme and the kinds of sessions we are looking for. For more
inspiration, be sure to check out the recordings of past keynotes and
sessions on our [MediaGoblin instance][5]

Our last informational session to answer any questions you have about
submitting a proposal for LibrePlanet will be held on November 14th,
from 13:00 to 14:00 EST (18:00 - 19:00 UTC). To participate, join us
in the #libreplanet [Internet Relay Chat (IRC) channel][6].

# Need help traveling to LibrePlanet?

We have a limited amount of funding to bring speakers to LibrePlanet
from all around the world. You can apply for travel funding in the
submission form.

If you don't need support to attend, you can help us to free the
future, and welcome the broadest possible audience, by [making a
contribution][7] to support those who do.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at
