Dear John,

This is a crucial moment in Green Party history, when we very much hope to
extend our influence in local and national government. Climate emergency is
finally on everyone's agenda, and our young people continue to make their
voices heard.

For this General Election, we are fielding candidates in four local
constituencies. People have told us repeatedly that if there is a Green
standing, they will vote for them. Experience shows that to be true.

Green activists are making a difference throughout the world, and here in
London we are making a real impact. It is the Green Party that has pushed
the practical and radical solutions our city needs. However we desperately
need to improve our position and increase our influence.

We have to improve London's air quality, which is damaging our health and
that of our children. We need to be able to fight for better youth services
to support our young people. We have to push harder for affordable housing
for all.

Running an election campaign requires funds. £500 is required just for
the deposit to allow a candidate to stand. Please HELP US RAISE FUNDS [1]
to stand our candidates in this crucial election for a positive change to
our society and our planet.

Our candidates are Zack Polanski in Cities of London and Westminster; Alex
Horn in Hammersmith; Vivien Lichtenstein in Kensington; and Holly Robinson
in Westminster North

In accordance with the Unite to Remain electoral arrangement between the
Green Party, the Liberal Democrats and Plaid Cymru, Angela Georgievski is
standing aside as the candidate for Chelsea & Fulham.

Please support your Green Party candidates via the WEST CENTRAL LONDON
GREEN PARTY ELECTION FUND [1].

We were alerted to the film 2040 [2], "an Australian documentary that
takes a solutions-based approach to how we can, using the technology we
already have, mitigate the enormous global issues we currently face. The
main themes/solutions looked at in the film are around: empowerment of
women and girls; marine regeneration; regenerative agriculture; renewable
energy; and circular economy. It's a story of hope, and a powerful tool to
encourage people to take action - you can take a peek at some of the
amazing things the Australian release has achieved so far in this video
[3]. The film hits cinemas from 15 November, and you can find the full list
of screenings across the UK here [4]."
