[ [link removed] ]Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for Congress

The Texas primary election is just 12 days away and we have a massive
opportunity to elect two progressive champions who will fight for Medicare
for All, reproductive rights, a Green New Deal, and much more.

[ [link removed] ]Before we share a bit more about them, if you already know Jessica and
Greg and are able to chip in to help mobilize voters at this critical
moment, please split a $6 donation between our campaigns
here.

If you’re not convinced yet, keep reading…

First, meet Jessica running in TX-28:

Jessica was born and raised in Laredo, Texas right on the border. Her
parents immigrated to Texas to start a new home for her family. Even as a
child growing up, she saw the issues impacting her family and her
community. Jessica wanted to be part of solving the problems she saw up
close – so she became an immigration and human rights attorney.

While most people in her district are Democrats, Texas’ 28th has been
represented by Rep. Henry Cuellar, a “Democrat” who voted for Trump’s
border wall twice and is proudly anti-choice. He’s been in Congress for 16
years and voted almost 70% of the time with Donald Trump. It’s time for
him to go.

Last year, Jess came within just a few percentage points of defeating
Henry Cuellar. Despite being outspent by $700,000 and opposed by the Koch
network and major corporate PACs, we nearly pulled off a massive upset.
This year we will.

Jessica is running because we need a representative who’ll fight for a
path to citizenship, Medicare for All, and a Green New Deal. She’s running
because we need to get big money out of politics and stop letting
corporate donors stack the deck in D.C. This past week, she was endorsed
by Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Next, meet Greg running in TX-35:

Greg is a born-and-raised Texan and son of Mexican immigrants. He has
represented Austin, Texas in the City Council since 2014 where he’s fought
for working Texans on issues of labor rights, reproductive justice,
immigration reform, civil rights, and more.

He successfully raised wages for thousands of workers, ended all personal
marijuana arrests in his city, and closed inexcusable tax loopholes for
the wealthiest.

Greg is running in an open Democratic primary for Texas’ 35th district,
but he still faces well-funded opponents. Greg was not only endorsed by
Alexandria, but also Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.

Casar is running to support working families and is deeply committed to
Medicare for All, fixing the power grid, raising the minimum wage, and
taking bold action on the climate crisis.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

These candidates are the reason why Alexandria traveled to San Antonio and
Austin this past weekend to help get out the vote before early voting
started on Monday, and meet with organizers on the ground.

Alexandria is working around the clock to grow progressive power in
Congress, but it will take a mass-mobilization of grassroots support to
win in Texas. [ [link removed] ]If you’re able to, can you chip in $6
right now to support Jess, Greg, and our work to mobilize voters in Texas
before the primary on March 1?

It’s crucial that we support these campaigns $5, $10, $50 at a time so
they can knock on as many doors as possible to energize voters and set a
record for voter turnout.

Thank you for stepping up.
