United States of PLAAY - join us for a free, fun, synchronized, simultaneous country-wide event! REGISTER for PLAAY DAY : 2022 UNITED STATES OF PLAAY!! Thursday, February 24th: 8a.m. - 1:30p.m, Alaska Standard Time REGISTER Youth across America to join Alaskans in Synchronized Event A team of University of Alaska Anchorage students will lead other students from across the state and beyond in 30-minute sessions of physical activity, from the Special Olympics Alaska Headquarters in Anchorage, via live stream. Thousands of children from schools across the country will participate, in addition to guest two-way schools in Connecticut, Mexico, Colorado, California, Hawaii and Alaska. Thirty minute sessions will begin at the top of each hour, beginning 8:00 a.m. and concluding around 1:30 p.m. Alaska time. Senator Lisa Murkowski and Representative Don Young plan to attend during the Alaska the sessions at noon and 1:00 p.m. from Kotzebue and Anchorage. The event is free and open to the public. Registration is open for any schools or adult organizations wishing to take part at: [link removed].
