Thriving with The Actors Fund
for People of Color

Tuesdays, March 1–April 19

2 pm ET/1 pm CT/11 am PT

Via Zoom

(Link provided upon sign-up)

These two 8-week support groups for people of color performing arts and entertainment industry professionals foster restorative dialog and peer support while centering on experiences of racial injustice, discrimination and bias within the industry and community as a whole. Participants will discuss how they’re evolving and moving forward as creatives with a better understanding of themselves and their purpose.

These support groups offer 2 cohorts—one for Black-identified people and one for Non-Black People of Color. We are currently interviewing for the Black-identified cohort which begins Tuesday, March 1 and will meet via Zoom for 2 hours on eight consecutive Tuesdays. The next Non-Black People of Color cohort will be scheduled for Fall 2022.

These support groups are available to people of color living in the United States, Puerto Rico and US territories.

To schedule an interview or for inquiries about the groups, please contact [email protected].

Please note that this is not a psychotherapy group and does not provide mental health treatment. If you are in need of mental health support, please learn more and reach out to The Actors Fund: actorsfund.org/mentalhealth.
