I wanted to take a moment to tell you just how important you are to me.

When I think about the people I consider my most important supporters, I don’t think about the ones who make the largest donations to my campaign. I think about the ones who stood with me when I needed them the most.

I think about the people who were with me when I won my first election to the Maryland House of Delegates on the pro-Choice team and my first campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives to flip MD's 8th Congressional District blue.

I think about the people who helped me work to pass the Affordable Care Act, Wall Street Reform, and the Economic Recovery Act.

I think about the people who were with me in my first campaign for the U.S. Senate six years ago when we faced outside secret money.

And I think about the people who have been with me in this re-election campaign to keep this Senate seat blue, fight for our values and defend our democracy — as volunteers, supporters, and as small-dollar donors.

We’re in the thick of the campaign now, and before the attack ads start running against me, I need you with me one more time.

So I am asking:

Can you please make a $3 contribution to my re-election campaign today? Help us reach our fundraising goals for the month of February and we’re going to defend this seat from Mitch McConnell in November.

Nothing less than control of the Senate, and any chance at progress is at stake in this race.
