Today, the House Intelligence Committee held the first public hearing of the impeachment investigation into President Trump. Congress heard testimony from William Taylor, the nation’s top diplomat in Ukraine, and George Kent, a State Department official who oversees U.S. foreign policy in Ukraine. These two witnesses testified under oath that the Trump Administration pressured the Ukrainian government to investigate a political opponent of the President and withheld critical security aid and a White House meeting to leverage Ukraine.

The purpose of these hearings is to determine whether or not Donald Trump committed offenses that should result in his impeachment. These hearings are also how Congress brings all of the facts to light before you, the American people, so you can hear testimony directly from the witnesses themselves and draw your own conclusions. And it’s for this reason that I’m sending a survey today so that I can learn what you think about the impeachment process. Will you complete this short, two-question survey below?
