I’ve asked you before, but I am asking again – my friend, Lorraine Birabil, needs our help to get her across the finish line. We are very close to sending another firece woman to the Texas Legislature who can make things happen for her community. Let's not waste this opportunity or talent.

I have known and worked side by side with Lorraine since 2012 and I’m tremendously proud to support her run for State Representative of House District 100. Believe me when I say Lorraine is a hard worker. My first congressional election was tough and Lorraine's dedication saw me across my own finish line.

Lorraine received the most votes out of 5 candidates last week because she has led a campaign that knows the importance of building a coalition focused on the issues that matter — like expanding access to affordable healthcare and funding our public schools.

Lorraine will ensure that every eligible voter can vote and that their vote counts. That's why we need to help elect her to the state house ahead of the upcoming redistricting battle — so that no Texan is left behind because their neighborhood doesn't suit someone in Austin.

Lorraine is a fighter and she's a leader we can always count on; there is no question that she’s the best choice to represent HD 100.
