Peace Adzo Medie joins us on Wednesday 2 March to talk about her novel?His Only Wife, read recently by our online Nottingham Library Readers book club.?
Peace is a scholar and writer. She is Senior Lecturer in Gender and International Politics at the University of Bristol. Her research addresses gender, politics, and conflict in Africa.??Her debut novel,?His Only Wife, was published in September 2020 by Algonquin Books. It was a?New York Times?Book Review Editors? Choice, a?New York Times?Notable Book of 2020, and a?Time?Magazine Must-Read Book of 2020.

We are launching a fresh course of free coding classes over a 6 week period. Perfect for children aged around 9-13 years, they will learn the basics of coding use Scratch and <html>.
Starting on 24 February, and running every Thursday for 6 weeks, 4.30pm to 6.30pm, at?Strelley Road Library.?
The sessions are entirely free, however spaces are limited and must be booked!?
