We know you’re probably getting a lot of emails today, but we wouldn’t be reaching out if it weren’t important: Unlike some other candidates filling your inbox, this campaign is totally built on grassroots support, and we need that people-power now.
We set a goal to hit 700 contributions by mid-February, and despite being more than halfway through the month, we’re still behind where we need to be. Will you chip in today before time runs out?
You might be asking what this goal means and why it’s so important. This mid-month fundraising deadline is especially critical because we are just 76 DAYS OUT from the primary election.
Strong and consistent fundraising can show everyone that we have what it takes to win (and we do!). But if we fall short, we could lose out on critical resources that allow us to do more — like bring on more organizers, canvass voters statewide, run digital ads, tour the state — making it that much harder for us to keep our momentum going.
Look, Morgan has traveled all across Ohio since she launched this campaign. We’ve seen how much passion there is for a different type of candidate — and how much hunger there is for change.
So we know we can win this. But today we need to show everyone else that we truly do have what it takes. We need just 21 more supporters to step up today and help us hit our mid-month goal.
