As we continue to see extremist Republicans, emboldened by Trump-backed courts and extremist state legislatures, run for office it is abundantly clear that this Midterm Election year will be an uphill battle.
We know that women voters delivered us victories in the White House and Congress in 2020: That’s why we’re preparing again to organize thousands of women voters leading up to the midterm elections. Can you help power this critical organizing work in 2022 and chip in $5 today?
The reason we defeated Trump in 2020 is because of women voters and the organizing power behind women-led organizations like Women’s March. Together in 2020 we organized GOTV efforts like text and phone banks, tripled our outreach with Sisterhood Sundays and Women2Women circles, and engaged voters on social media with our Digital Defenders program to defend and support progressive values.
We know what it takes to win. We’ve done it before and we can do it again, but only if we show up and show out.
John, historically, midterm elections have the worst voter turnout. We cannot afford to let that happen. Trump may be gone, but his cronies are still in Congress and pushing his anti-woman agenda. All elections matter, from U.S. Senate seats to local office — each of these positions have rippling effects that can and do affect us all.
Every dollar you gift will go towards our organizing and mobilizing plans for 2022 so we can continue resisting against attacks on our feminist values and push for the bold, progressive change we need in our country.
