John,
I’m going to tell you about the day I knew I had to get involved in politics. But first, I’m hoping you can chip in to my campaign before the week wraps up.

Back in 2017, I attended an event called Delta Days at the United States Capitol. This annual event, organized by my sorority Delta Sigma Theta, provides an opportunity for members to take an active role in the advocacy and legislative process. I was looking forward to speaking with my elected representatives about the issues that affected me as a constituent.
But guess what? Not a single representative held their appointment to meet with me. I got their message loud and clear: they had forgotten where they came from and who they worked for.

I realized if I wanted someone in Washington who was really fighting for Nebraska, I would have to take matters into my own hands. So now, I’m asking you to chip in to my Congressional campaign to ensure we have the resources necessary to flip this seat and bring Nebraskans the representation we deserve.

Anything you can spare means so much to my team and me.
Thank you,
Alisha |
