Hey, November marks an important anniversary for me. It's now officially been one year since you put your trust in this campaign -- and elected me to Congress. And now, we're up against another important date: the 2020 election is less than a year away. With fewer than twelve months until I'm on the ballot again (and national Republican groups already targeting my seat), it's critical this campaign has the solid foundation we need month after month to keep up our momentum. Since I first arrived in the halls of Congress in January, I'm proud of what I've been able to accomplish on behalf of all Coloradans. I've proposed and passed bills on some of the most important issues that impact our friends, family, and neighbors -- like securing our elections from dangerous foreign adversaries, elevating small businesses, raising the minimum wage to $15, protecting the environment, supporting our veterans and service members, and so much more. There is still an incredible amount of work to get done. Right now, I'm working on lowering the cost of prescription drugs, holding for-profit immigration detention facilities accountable, protecting the rule of law, and more. I'm going to continue to fight every day to tackle the issues that really matter to Coloradans -- but all of this is at risk if a rubber stamp for the far right-wing agenda makes headway.
