I’ve been an outspoken healthcare advocate for my entire career. From advocating for lower prescription drug prices and Medicare expansion in the Build Back Better Act to fighting for universal coverage, I’m proud to support measures that help our communities get the care they need.

Most recently, I introduced the Hear our Heroes Act of 2022 to do just that. This bill will ensure that veterans suffering from hearing loss will receive the care they need through the VA.

American service members often face significant physical and emotional wounds when they return from conflict, and while we can’t undo that harm, we can close the devastating gap in our healthcare system that makes it hard for veterans to receive crucial care.
