Wednesday, February 23 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Eastern: NOW Bargaining Basics
This introductory collective bargaining webinar is aimed at members who are likely to be involved in the collective bargaining process at their local or council. Topics include what can and cannot be bargained over under federal law, “good faith” bargaining, official time, information requests, and resources.
Friday, February 25 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Eastern: NOW Strategic Bargaining
This advanced bargaining class explores determining the best bargaining strategy, implementing a strategic bargaining plan, and effective strategies for educating members and gaining support. Completion of the Basics course is highly recommended before attending the Strategic Bargaining webinar.
