(raids, subpoenas, oh my!)

Earlier this week, Michigan State Police searched the home of former state House Speaker Lee Chatfield’s top staffers.

Why? Right now, there is an ongoing investigation after Chatfield’s 26-year-old sister-in-law came forward publicly that the former speaker abused her when she was just 15 years old. Chatfield is also surrounded by alleged financial irregularities involving almost $1 million in campaign and nonprofit funds.

Team, this is just the latest example of extreme corruption within the GOP.

Despite frequent uses of words like “ethics,” “accountability,” and “morality,” Republicans continue to make headlines for corrupt behavior and prove that actions speak louder than words:

The bottom line is this: The Michigan Republican Party is up to no good and we need to make sure that in 2022, we turn Michigan blue and bring morals, ethics, truth, and progress back to our state.

Make a contribution today to the Michigan Democratic Party and stand up against the GOP corruption! Together with your support, we can build momentum to turn Michigan blue in ‘22 →
