This election cycle, our democracy, our economy, and our environment are all on the line.

I’m proud to be a member of the Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC) in Congress because I know that when it comes to climate, we shouldn’t have to choose between preserving clean air and water for our children and growing a strong economy.

Here in Northeastern Pennsylvania, I’ve worked to reclaim unused mines that are polluting our drinking water, and we’ve added nearly 7,000 good-paying clean energy jobs in my district alone. However, if Republicans take back the House, they’ve already signaled that they’d continue investing in old, dirty technologies that threaten the safety of our communities.

That’s why today, I’m joining with SEEC PAC not only to protect my seat but also to support my fellow SEEC members who are revolutionizing how green technologies can help both our economy and preserve our environment for future generations. We’ve all seen devastating storms and weather events tear apart communities from Florida to California, and we need to make the investments now to prevent further climate catastrophes.

We can do that by investing in green sector jobs that also pay more on average than older technologies. Our communities are so much stronger when we invest in good-paying jobs that don’t pollute our air and water.
