I’ll be honest, folks — In a moment, I’m going to ask you to pitch in ahead of our mid-quarter fundraising deadline tonight. But first, I hope you'll give me a chance to explain why your support is so important, especially today.
From spreading Donald Trump’s “Big Lie” that the election was somehow stolen from him, to peddling dangerous conspiracy theories about the COVID-19 vaccine, to attacking the right to vote at every turn — Republicans have shown us that they are unfit to lead at any level.
But Republicans only need to flip one seat to reclaim the Senate majority this November — and if we want to keep control of the Senate from falling back into Mitch McConnell’s hands, we cannot afford to take Wisconsin for granted this year.
The Cook Political Report named Ron Johnson’s race one of a handful of toss-ups that could decide control of the Senate majority. After raising more than $104 million in 2021, you can bet dollars to donuts the National Republican Senatorial Committee will pour millions into our state to attack Democrats and prop up incumbents like Johnson.
We must come to terms with the hard truth that Republicans could easily squeak by here and win if we do nothing to stop them. That’s why our team has set an ambitious mid-quarter goal, so we can build the resources we’ll need to overcome right-wing megadonors, flip Ron Johnson’s seat, and continue building on our progress for working families.
But honestly, fundraising has been particularly slow this month and right now, we’re tracking behind on hitting our target. So I'm personally asking:
Will you pitch in one final contribution to help us hit our goal before our mid-quarter deadline expires at midnight tonight? Your support will help ensure our grassroots team has the necessary resources to do everything possible to protect our Senate majority.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
I’m so lucky to know that I can always count on this incredible grassroots team when we’re in a pinch. Thank you for all that you’ve done and will continue to do.
