In the last year, the January 6 Committee received a trove of documents and interviewed hundreds of people, and now, according to the committee, former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani is expected to give his testimony to the panel.

This is potentially vital to the investigation considering Giuliani very publicly helped lead the effort to overturn the 2020 election by spreading Trump’s election lie in “press conference” after “press conference.”

While Republicans do everything they can to stop the January 6 investigation, our Future Forum members Pete Aguilar (CA-31) and Stephanie Murphy (FL-07), along with the rest of the Committee, are dedicated to uncovering the truth by continuing to call upon those who were involved to testify before the panel.

According to a CBS News poll, despite many Trump officials opting to work with the Committee, 7 in 10 Republicans say Congress should drop their investigation into whether public officials had a role in the events of January 6.

If Republicans take the House in November, they will make every effort to satisfy their base and shut down the Committee.
