We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Show us your donors and we’ll show you who and what you’ll fight for in Washington.
That’s why the first and most crucial step a politician can take to fight for progressive policies is to turn down donations from the corporations working against those policies in Congress.
We’re doing things differently on our campaign. We’re not taking money from corporate lobbyists or corrupt Super PACs, because Nina is in this fight for working people, not the millionaires and billionaires rigging the system against the rest of us.
We’re incredibly proud of that fact, but it does mean that from time to time we have to ask directly:
A single $27 contribution may not seem like the kind of money that can stand up to the millions that big corporations and special interests have to throw around. But when you chip in $27 and someone else reading this does too, that’s how we fight back and win.
We build this movement brick by brick. One volunteer, one donation, and one vote at a time. Every single one of them matters. Nobody is taken for granted.
