Last summer, the 4th most powerful Democrat in the House, Hakeem Jeffries,
joined Rep. Josh Gottheimer in creating ‘Team Blue PAC’ supposedly to stop
Democrats from “fighting each other instead of fighting the other team.”

But what Team Blue PAC is actually doing is sending tens of thousands of
dollars into safe blue districts to stop primary challenges from Justice
Democrats.

It’s alarming that critical resources from Democratic Party leadership are
going to protect incumbents from having to face any competition in these
deep blue districts instead of protecting the swing seats Democrats are in
danger of losing in November.



A Democratic majority won’t mean anything if it doesn’t include candidates
willing to take on the corporations and put people first. [ [link removed] ]That is why

Sometimes it feels like the establishment is focused on fighting harder
against progressive principals, nurses, bartenders, and labor organizers
than Republicans. In fact, Team Blue PAC is already spending money against
our slate of Justice Democrats, but we can’t move forward by electing the
same Democrats who have spent the last four years obstructing
progressives.

The establishment is targeting Justice Democrats because they know that
the candidates we elect to Congress will govern according to their
progressive values, not the influence of Wall Street. And while Justice
Democrats are fighting to fundamentally transform politics, Team Blue PAC
