I’m thrilled to announce we’ve opened the application for our first in-person Arena Academy since 2019!

We’re teaming up with Arizona-based organization Instituto to train 200+ current and aspiring campaign staffers in Phoenix, Arizona from May 4-8, and we hope you’ll join us there.

Arena Academy is an opportunity to build your network and level up your skills. We train seven tracks: campaign management, communications, data, digital, finance, organizing, and organizing director. After Academy, we provide coaching and support to help you land your next role.

At Academy, you'll hear from Arizonans who are successfully building progressive power in a state that is often used as a conservative testing ground. Our trainers are the best in the business and will teach you a range of skills, including how to combat disinformation, how to build inclusive teams, and the foundational skills you need to get a job in your track of choice.   

One of the most powerful things about attending Arena Academy in person is the chance to connect with trainers and fellow participants face-to-face during sessions and outside of official training hours. Lasting connections and brilliant ideas have been fostered in the halls and after hours of past Academies.

Arena Academy Phoenix costs $300 and scholarships for tuition, travel, and room and board are available. We’re monitoring COVID-19 closely and taking precautions to protect participants. Read our FAQ for more details on scholarships, COVID-19 policies, and more.

This is just the first of a few big announcements we have in store this year. In the coming weeks, we’ll share the details for our in-person Texas Arena Academy and Summit in June, and other events will be announced throughout the spring. 

We can't wait to gather in person again and provide the face-to-face connections we’ve all been missing the past two years. Incredible things happen when we gather together and build our skills to make change.
