As we enter the 2022 election cycle, it is vitally important that we have transparency and accountability in our system. As part of our mission, Greater Georgia is working hard to ensure elected officials are addressing the concerns of Georgians and doing everything they can to secure our system and restore voter confidence.
Unfortunately, this goal was undermined when the Secretary of State announced that his office awarded a $3.5-million no-bid contract for voter registration software to a vendor with a history of opposing the very election laws they would be tasked with upholding.
While Sec. Raffensperger thinks that this closed-door deal is acceptable, Greater Georgia does not. We were on the frontlines of this revelation, exposing the lack of transparency and pushing for accountability immediately.

Greater Georgia has officially launched an internship program! We are recruiting interns to assist with voter registration and engagement. This opportunity will be great to learn the ropes of political organizing, including how to get out the vote, how to engage with voters in a variety of communities, and more. Possible areas of compensation include class credit, milage reimbursement, and cash incentives based on goal-oriented progress.
If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Outreach Coordinator Terry Fye at [email protected] with questions or to submit a completed application.
