The increasing reliance on presidential executive orders to negate or circumvent legislative action should be concerning to all citizens, no matter their political party preferences. Elected representatives are there for a reason, not only to let the people's voices be known, but to provide the checks and balances that the country's founders so wisely advocated. Recently the U.S.Senate rejected legislation to allow a federal takeover of national elections. Not happy with the decision of the elected body, the Biden administration is now implementing sweeping actions under an executive order to influence the 2022 midterm elections and beyond. Biden Bureaucracy Secretly Plans to Turn Out Voters After Failure of Election Takeover Bills

The Biden administration is secretly planning to impose an executive order directing all federal agencies to focus on voter registration and partner with private organizations to boost election turnout, according to members of Congress and a watchdog group.

Last March, President Joe Biden signed an executive order stating that federal agencies “shall consider ways to expand citizens’ opportunities to register to vote and to obtain information about, and participate in, the electoral process.”
