I’m sure you’ve noticed that gas prices are the highest we’ve seen in years.

These rising costs have put a strain on families as they drive to work, to the grocery store, or to get their kids to school each day.

Tackling this issue and supporting families struggling to make ends meet is one of my top priorities. That’s why I’ve been urging the president to take action that will lower prices at the pump for months.

And last week I introduced legislation of my own that will suspend the federal gas tax, lowering the cost of gasoline and helping pass those savings on to families — not oil and gas companies.

This is a critical piece of legislation, and if you support this bill I’m asking you to make your voice heard:
