John --

I wanted to tell you more about my story as a veteran of our Armed Forces and talk about why serving this country is the ultimate honor.

Service is a tradition for my family. My father served our country as a member of the United States Air Force before providing maintenance to large machines as a member of UAW Local 1765.

I wanted to follow in his footsteps.

Right after high school, I enlisted in the Army, where I proudly served as a military policeman. It was the honor of a lifetime, and now, I’m ready to give back to my community.

In fact, my hometown of Lima has the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center, and it is the only plant in the country that still produces tanks for our Armed Forces.

If elected to Congress, I'll serve my district and country in the best way I know how, by putting party over country and upholding my oath of office no matter what.
