Every year in November, GLSEN participates in Transgender Awareness Week which culminates with the Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20th. The purpose of the week is to educate about and find ways to advocate for, transgender, nonbinary, two-spirit, gender nonconforming, agender, genderqueer, and gender exploring people.

A few actions you can take this week:

• Learn how you can do more for trans youth with our Trans Support Action Kit
• Read our blog post, What About Trans Educators
• Donate to support trans and gender non-conforming youth in our schools
