At midnight tonight, I’m facing my most critical mid-month deadline yet of the campaign. If we’re going to defeat Chuck Grassley, turn Iowa blue, and protect our Democratic majority in the Senate, we need to hit our $200,000 fundraising goal before midnight tonight – but right now, we’re still falling short.

I wouldn’t ask if it weren’t important: Can you chip in $5 or whatever you can afford now – before our critical mid-month deadline at midnight tonight – to help me defeat Chuck Grassley and turn Iowa blue?

The early polling shows this race will be close. Only 27% of Iowa voters said they want to reelect Chuck Grassley in the latest poll from the highly-respected Des Moines Register. And Grassley’s approval ratings are the lowest they’ve ever been!

But Mitch McConnell, corporate PACs, and special interests like Big Pharma, Wall Street, and the NRA are already raising millions for Chuck Grassley’s campaign. Grassley has a $3.7 million war chest, and that’s not even counting the Super PAC money that’s going to flood the Iowa airwaves!

I’m not taking money from corporate PACs, so if I’m going to be able to fight back and win, I need your help now.

Our most critical deadline yet is in less than 6 hours, but we’re still falling short of our goal. Please, will you give $5 or whatever you can spare now to help me defeat Chuck Grassley, turn Iowa blue, and protect our Senate majority? Control of the Senate is at stake, and we can’t afford to fall short now.

Together, I know we can win this race.
