AOC at San Antonio Rally: ‘Texas Turning Blue is Inevitable’

During a voting rally at the Paper Tiger live music venue on Saturday, proud socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) told a masked San Antonio crowd that “Texas turning blue is inevitable” while she stumped for two Democrat congressional candidates, Jessica Cisneros and Greg Casar.

“Here’s what’s exciting about Jessica’s race and Greg’s race, is that if we flip Texas, we flip the country…,” the radical AOC declared. “Texas turning blue is inevitable. The only question is when. We are going to fight for a living wage, we are going to make sure we unionize the hell out of this state… and we’re going to make sure that not one dime is made exploitatively across any worker, especially the undocumented.”

AOC claimed she supports the two for Congress due to their shared interests for Texas and the U.S., including “Medicare for all, good-paying union jobs, and reproductive freedom.”

Speaking at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast in September 2019, Republican Sen. Ted Cruz (TX) had said that if the GOP were to lose Texas, “it’s game over. I don’t believe Texas will turn blue but central to that is we’re going to have to work to communicate and turn people out.”

Even more central to that is stemming the Democrat Party’s blatant widespread voter fraud.

Ocasio-Cortez Says America Is “On a Precipice of Fascism and a Return to Jim Crow”

In a January 26, 2022 appearance on MSNBC’s The 11th Hour, Ocasio-Cortez praised 83-year-old leftwing Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer’s decision to retire while Democrats still held control of both the Senate and the White House: “[T]here’s no way of saying what’s actually in Justice Breyer’s mind. But I do believe that the urgency of this moment — the fact that the country is very clearly on a precipice of fascism and a return to Jim Crow, the sweeping attack on voting rights in this country and the very real threat of seeing what happened with the consequences of Ruth Bader Ginsburg passing during the Trump presidency — that we could very well risk something like that happening again. And if that was part of his calculation, I think he was correct in his conclusion.”
