Our campaign is no stranger to unwarranted criticisms from the right. However, when certain GOP candidates are committed to insulting Chicago and drawing unfair comparisons in order to selfishly boost their regressive agenda, we are compelled to speak out. 

 

From comparing Chicago to the tragedies of Afghanistan and referring to our great city as a 'war-zone,' this rhetoric is too toxic not to call out. 

 



 

We need leaders like Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who is not only working to improve our communities, but is PROUD to call this  city home.
