| Fellow Conservative, Have you ever believed in something so strongly, that you’re willing to give up everything? My family did and I am thankful every day for their sacrifice. I was born in Havana, Cuba, and escaped Castro's Communist Revolution with my family in 1960. I grew up watching a communist dictator destroy my native country. Our family friends who remained were forced to ration food and were oppressed every single day. But Fellow Conservative, I’ve always believed that my life is blessed – and I am grateful every day that my parents risked everything to make sure that we grew up in America where we could be free! They took a chance and together, we made it to the United States. My parents came here with nothing but through hard work they were able to provide the example and the foundation for me to live the American Dream. I am living proof that the American dream is real! My name is Leora Levy and I’m running for the United States Senate. I am running to lead the fight for freedom and to take on the far-left who want to make our country look more like Communist Cuba than the United States.
