Folks, the stars are aligning once again to make Wisconsin home to one of the most competitive — and expensive — battleground Senate races in the country. Here’s why:

Donald Trump and his GOP allies have amassed a humongous war chest dedicated to taking back the Senate. Recently, Trump reported he began the year with $122 million in his political operation, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) reported raising more than $100 million at the end of 2021.

As we’re sure you know, Trump is no stranger to Wisconsin — he won the state in 2016 and lost by less than 1% in 2020. Not to mention, Republican Senator Ron Johnson just announced his re-election campaign last month, and a top NRSC adviser said the committee is “all in” for him.

With control of the Senate on the line, we can expect the GOP to spend a pretty penny here in Wisconsin. That’s why it’s absolutely critical that we hit every single one of our fundraising goals this year.
