Dear John,
Yesterday, as the U.S. Supreme Court held oral arguments on the Trump administration’s efforts to end DACA, student leaders in TFN’s Texas Rising program participated in walkouts across the state to stand up for the hundreds of thousands of people whose lives could be threatened by the elimination of this program. Our students and partners made it clear that, regardless of the outcome, DACA is supported here in Texas.
Across the state our plan for 2020 is the same: show up, fight back and vote. We have less than 365 days to reach our goal of registering 100,000 young people in Texas -- that's 280 young Texans every day until election day.
To reach that goal, we need you to be the fuel that keeps the fire blazing. By giving $20 for 2020 today, young leaders across the state can continue working towards building power that will result in lasting progressive change for all Texans.
