It’s too little, too late, but after years of forcing Illinoisans to mask up indoors, JB Pritzker has finally decided to follow the science and lift this draconian measure.

 

But there’s a catch. Children will still be required to wear masks while in the classroom.

Not only has the science clearly indicated that children have THE LOWEST risk of getting sick from COVID-19, but we also know that forcing children to wear masks while interacting with their classmates and teachers can have very detrimental effects on their development, especially during their formative years.

 

It’s clear that the benefits to unmasking our children far outweigh the risks. So why is Pritzker still requiring children to wear masks in school?

 

It’s because he is bought out by teachers unions, whose leaders don’t want to unmask children until there is ZERO COVID TRANSMISSION.

 

For once in his career, Pritzker needs to serve parents and students, not special interest teachers union bosses.
