Friend, following up on Shane’s email. I just met with my team, and as things stand right now, we are still $3,300 short of our goal to fund the upcoming ballot petition program.

The first step to beating our out-of-touch self-funding opponents this year is getting me on the ballot. In Pennsylvania, that requires collecting 1,000 signatures, a number we intend to blow out of the water. But in order to do so, we need to restock our campaign office with materials and campaign literature for volunteers because our office and its contents were wiped out in Hurricane Ida.

It's no exaggeration to say that this could be the make-or-break deadline for this election cycle – if we don't gather the resources we need NOW, we won't be able to invest in things like voter registration, phone banks, and yes, the on-the-ground mobilization we're planning on running this month.

Please, if you have a moment, would you consider donating $5 today to make sure our enthusiastic team of volunteers and I can safely go door to door, share our message, and collect signatures to ensure I am on the ballot this cycle? Every dollar will go toward closing our $3,300 gap and fighting the GOP's conspiracy theories and antidemocratic tactics.

Subject: What your support means

Hi there, friend! My name is Shane, and I'm Chrissy's campaign manager.

I'm sure you know that we are gearing up for an uber-competitive election this year. From GOP-led gerrymandering to Chrissy's TWO self-funded opponents pouring money into the race to buy this seat, we have our work cut out for us to protect this battleground district.

The first step to winning is collecting voter signatures to get on the ballot. In Pennsylvania, that means the signatures of 1,000 registered Democrats in our district – it’s no small task, and it requires a high level of organization.

Here’s the problem: last year, our campaign office was flooded, and we lost all of our volunteer materials. From palm cards to clipboards to disinfectant and masks, we need to restock this week.

In all, I have a budget of $7,300 to give our volunteers the materials they need to safely secure the signatures to get us on the ballot, and I need your help to fill it.

Please, friend, if everyone reading this were to give $X, we would have the resources we need to set ourselves up to run the top-knotch signature gathering program we need to get Chrissy on the ballot. Will you invest today so that I can make these strategic purchases this week, and we can keep PA-06 blue?

I'm so excited to hit the ground running with you, friend.

Shane
