Folks,

My mid month fundraising deadline is in 4 days, and I’m going to ask you to chip in $5 to support my campaign. But first, I have a longer message I want to share with you today about my parents and I’m hoping you’ll read it:

When I was growing up, my family and I didn’t have a lot of money, but we did have a lot of love.

My mom worked as a teacher, and when I was growing up she also owned a brick-and-mortar store called Bev’s Bags and Accessories. Seeing her commitment to following her passions showed me firsthand the importance of hard work, dedication, and commitment to your community.

Both of my parents are ordained ministers, and their unwavering faith in me shaped me into the person I am today. They strongly encouraged my love of science early on, allowing me to expand my horizons and accomplish things beyond my wildest dreams.

Folks, the values my parents instilled in me got me to where I am, and I work to live up to their example every day.

It’s because of them that I’m in this race — fighting to ensure that every person in the state has their voice heard and their needs met.

I’m ready to lead Arkansas with the values my parents instilled in me, and I need your help to get there. My mid month fundraising deadline is coming up, and I need help from this team to keep our campaign’s momentum going. Can I count on you to chip in?
