We are proud to stand with our comrades at Great Lakes Coffee as they demand?that their union is recognized by the owners of Great Lakes Coffee.

Workers at the Great Lake Coffee Midtown location were locked out of their shop over a month ago for asking that Covid precautions be implemented.?

Now, dozens of workers across four Great Lakes Coffee locations are unionizing!?

There are a couple of ways you can show solidarity:?

1.?Call the Great Lakes Coffee bosses today and tomorrow to urge them to recognize the union. Their number is (248) 745-0000. Reply back to this email to let us know you called! Here's a script:?

"Hello my name is [X] from Detroit DSA. I am calling to urge the management of Great Lakes Coffee Roasting Co. to recognize their unionizing workers. I think management's decision to close the midtown location and effectively lock out these workers is inhumane. Retaliation against your employees who simply wanted COVID protections on the job is unacceptable. I support this union because.... (include a personal appeal for why you support unions, workers rights and a better world!)"?
