Here’s the deal: At midnight tonight, we’re officially 50% of the way to our end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline. When that deadline ends, we’re legally required to disclose the amount of money we’ve raised, and how many donations we’ve received.

It’s that second number we care about most — the one that shows how many people across the country are standing with our progressive movement.

But right now, we’re pacing behind where we need to be. As of this morning, we’re 316 donations short, so we need a BIG day today if we’re going to reach our goals.

So, please. The fossil fuel industry and the right-wing super PACs may have all the cash in the world — but we’ve got each other, and that’s far more powerful than anything they can throw at us.
