What if Kamala had given up the first time she ran for office? The first
time people tried to tell her what she set out to do wasn’t
possible...that she wasn’t “electable?”

Here’s where we’d be today: The big banks that scammed homeowners might
have a whole lot more cash lining their pockets right now. Everyone from
Brett Kavanaugh to Jeff Sessions to Donald Trump would not have Kamala
holding them accountable.

And little girls everywhere who look to Kamala and see that yes, this is

The first time my sister ran for office, everyone told her that she didn’t
have a chance. Including the polls.

But she was undeterred, she worked hard -- and she won.

And when she ran for the office of California Attorney General -- the
largest state attorney general’s office in the United States -- the polls
weren’t in her favor either. The race ended up being so close that her
opponent declared victory on election night, only to have Kamala be
announced as the winner three weeks later.

Here’s what my sister did then and what we need to do now: she kept going.
She stayed focused. She outworked everyone else. She believed it was
