To honor the victims and survivors of the Parkland school shooting four years later, Team Fair Shot has joined an effort to compile signatures from voters all over the country to demand that Congress ban assault weapons (like the AR-15 used in Parkland) once and for all.
Four years ago, a gunman opened fire with an AR-15 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High in Parkland, Florida. He murdered 17 people and injured 17 more.
It was one of the deadliest school shootings in American history.
To honor the victims and survivors of the Parkland school shooting four years later, Team Fair Shot has joined an effort to compile signatures from voters all over the country to demand that Congress ban assault weapons (like the AR-15 used in Parkland) once and for all.
We can and we must protect our kids from the dangers of assault weapons by taking steps to ensure tragedies like Parkland can never happen again. Assault weapons have no place in our schools, and it is past time that we restore the ban.
Thank you for your support.
