Representing our community in Congress has been the honor of my life, John. And it’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly.

In the three years I’ve served in Congress, I’ve had eight different pieces of legislation signed into law by both Democratic and Republican administrations — including my Health Care Affordability Act, lowering health insurance costs and premiums, and the Protecting Moms Who Served Act, improving maternal health care for our veterans and helping save moms' lives.

We made some incredible progress over the last few years, but as we both know, there’s still a lot of work ahead of us. And now is not the time to get complacent.

The National Republican Congressional Committee has made me a top target in their fight to flip the House majority, and they have tens of millions of dollars at the ready to launch attacks on campaigns like ours. On top of that, five right-wing opponents have jumped in this race to try to defeat me.

Protecting this seat won’t be easy, it’s going to take a lot of resources to fight back against right-wing attacks and continue sharing our progress with folks across the district. If we’re going to win this race and keep fighting for progress in Washington, I’ll need you by my side every step of the way.

So John, I’m humbly asking, will you make a donation to my campaign for Congress to help us keep up our policy-focused work in Washington? In a race as close as ours will be, every dollar makes a difference.

We have our work cut out for us, but this incredible team is no stranger to a tough fight. Together, I know anything is possible.

Thanks for everything, John.
