Open Markets Institute is bringing together lawmakers, law enforcers, and other experts for a lunchtime discussion series that asks: Are fears about the unintended consequences of strengthening anti-monopoly laws and enforcement legitimate,or do the opportunities and benefits vastly outweigh the risks? Headlining these conversations will be Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), chairwoman of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Competition Policy, Antitrust, and Consumer Rights; General Wesley Clark, former Supreme Allied Commander Europe; Jonathan Kanter, assistant attorney general of the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division; and Tim Wu, special assistant to the President on technology and competition policy.
