[AFSP and National Alliance for Eating Disorders Logo]([link removed])

In recognition of Eating Disorder Awareness month, AFSP and [The National Alliance for Eating Disorders]([link removed])will be holding a Fireside Chat this Wednesday about eating disorders and suicide prevention.

AFSP’s VP of Mission Engagement, Doreen Marshall, will be talking with Founder and CEO of The Alliance, Johanna Kandel. Topics will include:

- The relationship between eating disorders and suicide risk
- Ways to support someone with an eating disorder
- How to talk to someone with an eating disorder, who may be struggling (with thoughts of suicide)
- Recognizing the warning signs for suicide
