John,

Since then-Senator Joe Biden first led the effort to champion and pass the Violence Against Women Act in 1994, this landmark piece of legislation has helped protect millions of women from all forms of domestic and gender-based violence.

Congress has come together time and time again to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act in the past, but this critical legislation expired in 2019. Thankfully, last week, a bipartisan group of Senators reached an agreement to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act.

It's past time we reauthorize it — and then push forward to do all we can to improve and protect the lives of survivors for years to come.

Protecting women and all survivors of domestic violence shouldn’t be a political issue. If you agree we must reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act today, join me in adding your name → [link removed]

Thank you,

Chris
