Happy Valentines’ Day to you and your loved ones! This is Pam (Josh’s wife).
Thank you so much for the outpouring of love and support we received to celebrate the news of our baby on the way. As we celebrate Valentines’ Day today, Josh and I are thinking a lot about all the love we have for our soon-to-be daughter, and about what sort of future we want to create for her.
Some of the most important issues for the future are going to be determined over the next few years: are we going to aggressively combat climate change? Are we going to adequately protect women’s access to reproductive healthcare? Are we going to address growing economic inequalities?
The threats we face have never been more real. There’s never been a more important time to think seriously about the role we want to play in creating the future we want for our loved ones.
The midterm election coming up has never felt higher stakes.
