Dear John,
You may be surprised to learn that Valentine's Day is one of Toni’s favorite holidays. It is one of the few days of the year she is not wearing her trademark blue power suit but instead, wears a red jacket. Read more about her Blue Suits of Power here!
Toni enjoys this day not because of all the candies and flowers, but how it brings the community together. On most Valentine's Days, Toni spends the day visiting with seniors distributing candy. This year, Toni is spending the day in Washington, DC at the National Association of Counties continuing to fight for more resources for our beloved Cook County.
As we prepare for her re-election campaign, we humbly ask you to continue to support her efforts as Cook County Board President and make a small donation today. Whether you can contribute $5, $25, $50, or more, your support will help keep Toni in office, building upon the progress she's made for all residents of Cook County.
Thank you for your ongoing support in trying to make the world a better place, and remember Eleanor Roosevelt’s words:
“Do what you feel in your heart to be right – for you’ll be criticized anyway. You’ll be damned if you do and damned if you don’t."
Love,
Team Toni
