Our ability to vote and have a say in our government is one of our most fundamental rights as Americans. But across the country, we've seen Republicans pass unfair redistricting maps in an attempt to silence the voices of millions of voters.

Our state constitution guarantees that elections should be equal and free – that means voters pick their representatives, not the other way around. But right here in Kentucky, Republicans quietly passed unfair maps last month, and they did it quickly and without transparency. They're trying to play politics with our maps to benefit their party without regard for the folks who elected them.

Fortunately, Andy stood up for Kentuckians and vetoed these unconstitutional maps.
